Lund University is ranked 20th in the world for geography and 50th for both environmental sciences and development studies. In addition, Lund University was ranked in the top 100 for eleven other subject areas, and in the top 150 for nine subject areas. In the overall QS World University Ranking for 2014/15, released in September 2014, Lund University was ranked as the 60th best university in the world.
