Scholarships from Swedish foundations
Apply between 23 March–6 April!
A small number of scholarship from Swedish foundations are open for applications each autumn (usually late October – early November) and spring (usually March–April). The spring 2017 application round is open between 23 March–6 April.
Call for applications, spring 2017
Call for applications to the scholarships that are relevant to current international Lund University students are published below.
- Sydsvenska Dagbladet 100th Anniversary Fund (54 kB) – for students within the field of journalism
- Skåneföreningen Fund (PDF 53 kB) – for students at the Faculty of Science or students at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences
- Sjögrenska Scholarship Fund (PDF 53 kB) – for students who are members of Småland Nation with knowledge of the Latin language
- Weiber Fund (PDF 47 kB) – for mechanical engineering students, preferably for study visits
How to apply
You apply for the scholarships from the Swedish foundations via the online application system, during the application period (unless stated otherwise in the respective call for applications).
Carefully read through the call for applications for the scholarship want to apply for to make sure that you are eligible to apply and to make sure that you submit the correct supporting documents.
Please note that even though the online application system is active during other periods (since it is used for several scholarship applications) you should only apply during the specified dates to ensure your application is processed.
Decisions and payments
The time taken to process applications varies for the various different scholarships. Decisions are published in the online application system. The scholarships are usually paid out in the same semester as they are announced.
