Energy-efficient and Environmental Building Design student ambassador Anton

Anton Hendrix

Introducing Anton Hendrix

Hi! My name is Anton and I'm the student ambassador for the Master's programme in Energy-efficient and Environmental Building Design. I am happy to answer questions you might have about the programme, courses, student life, life in Lund and Sweden. Please note that I can not answer questions about the application process, scholarships or residence permits.

My experience so far

What I really enjoy about my programme is the real specialisation that takes place and how it gradually gets harder and how it is more work when you get more into it (maybe I'm crazy, but yes, I like that they give me more work). The programme is also really well structured.

I live in Helsingborg, which is where the programme is taught. In contrast to the classical student city Lund – based around students and student life – the city of Helsingborg has a more mixed population and focus. As I've already been a student for 8 years, I enjoy that. On the other hand, it's still very easy to have a really good night out at a club or bar, or at the student union. There are actually lots of great places to visit. And we've got one student tradition in Helsingborg that students at the other campuses don't have, and that's 'Tura'! (You'll find out what that is once you get here.)

In terms of future plans, I like the university environment and doing research, so maybe I'll look for a PhD position, or maybe I'll just look for work.
