Electromagnetic Compatibility Problems in Automotive Applications

Author

Summary, in English

This paper discuss electromagnetic compatibility

problems in automotive applications where the voltage is

controlled by pulse width modulation. Some proposed solutions

are presented, and also the results are shown. In order to get a

good measure of the efficiency of the different solutions, the

radiated emissions from a system composed of a power electronic

part with a DC/DC converter and a load are measured. The

solutions that are tested are affecting both the hardware and the

software of the setup. Also experiments where different solutions

are combined are investigated.
