The purpose of the education in film music is to develop the students creative and and ability to catch the dramatic and emotional development in Tv/Film productions with musical means. After the completed studies the student will have knowledge in the history of film and film music. The education also consists of studies in analysis of film and film music. The student should after completed studies have developed an ability to work professionally as a composer in film and TV productions in a modern studio enviroment with new technology. The ability of the student to work in a changing and developing market with its demands of new thinking is also i focus. The självständigt arbete is a praktik del in cooperation with Ystad Studios and should result in a larger musical work to a film production.
