| Abstract English | The essay studies the ways in which the Swedish Prime Minister, Per Albin Hansson, was mediated in the 1930s and 40s. In contrast to an existing belief that the medalization of politics didn't really evolve until the breakthough of television during the 1960s and 70s, it is suggested that this way of relating to politics existed at a significantly earlie stage of Swedish media history. |
