Major prizes for diabetes researchers

Diabetes researcher Leif Groop has received one of the largest medical prizes in Scandinavia, the Anders Jahre Senior Medical Prize, which is awarded by Oslo University and has prize money of one million Norwegian kroner.
Another Lund researcher, Kristian Petras, who recently became Professor of Molecular Medicine at Lund University, shares the Anders Jahre Prize for Young Scientists with Tibor Harkany from Karolinska Institutet. The prize is worth NOK 400 000.Latest news
