Lund University is ranked as the number one full-scale university in Scandinavia

In the global university ranking: The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2012-13, Lund is yet again ranked as one of the world’s top 100 universities and receives the highest ranking of all full-scale universities in the Nordic region.
“It is pleasing to see that Lund University continues to be highly ranked in the face of increasingly fierce global competition”, says Vice-Chancellor Per Eriksson.
In total there are around 17 000 higher education institutions worldwide which means that Lund University places among the top 0, 4 % of the world’s universities.
