Supporting documents must arrive by 1 February 2013!
Now that you have completed your online application on www.universityadmissions.se (the deadline was 15 January), you need to submit your supporting documents. The deadline for the supporting documents to arrive at University Studies in Sweden (address: FE 1, SE-833 83 Stroemsund, Sweden) is 1 February 2013. Note that you should not send any documents directly to Lund University, unless this is clearly stated in the programme information.
Information on what to submit and how to submit it can be found here on the universityadmissions website.
Do not miss the country specific information, which is also found on those webpages!
Make sure that your package of documents is complete. If any documents are missing or submitted incorrectly by the deadline, your entire application will be considered late and may not be processed.
If you are submitting test results from an English proficiency test (IELTS/TOEFL) and you know that you will receive the results too late to meet the 1 February deadline, please contact the local admissions office at Lund University at firstname.lastname@example.org for further instructions.
Additional documents required by the programmes/courses
Many programmes or courses require you to write a statement of purpose. You should write a separate statement of purpose for each programme that requests one. Note that some programmes require you to answer specific questions, follow a specific template, or to comment on certain topics within your statement of purpose. Check the programme specific webpages under “How to apply” to see what they ask for.
You may also be asked to submit recommendation letters, a CV, a writing sample or for design programmes, a portfolio. Make sure to read the instructions carefully and submit all the required documents. Do not submit other documents than those asked for. Note that programme-specific documents are sometimes sent directly to the department at Lund University and not to University Admissions together with your other documents.
Application fee must be paid by 1 February!
Non-EU/EEA citizens are generally required to pay an application fee as well as a tuition fee when applying to a study programme in Sweden. Read here to find out if you are required to pay.
- If you are required to pay an application fee, you must do so before the deadline 1 February 2013. Your application will not be processed if you do not pay the application fee by the deadline.

- Admitted students who are required to pay tuition fees pay the first instalment of the fee after you have been offered a place on a programme/course at Lund University and accepted the offer.
