Lund University climbs in QS Subject Ranking 2016

With improved rankings for 14 subject areas in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2016 released today, Lund University once again reinforces its position as a top 100 University.

Lund University is ranked 16th in the world for geography, 38th for archaeology, 43rd for development studies and 44th for environmental sciences. In addition, Lund University was ranked in the world's top 100 for fifteen other subject areas and in the top 150 for six subject areas. All 30 subject areas that Lund University was ranked in were placed among the world’s top 200.

In this edition of the QS Subject Ranking, 4226 universities were evaluated and 945 institutions were ranked in total. 

In the overall QS World University Ranking for 2015/16, released in September 2015, Lund University was ranked as the 70th best university in the world.
