Lund University once again top 100 in the QS University Rankings

Lund University has once again been ranked as the number one university in Sweden and the 73rd best in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2016/17 that was released today.

With 17,000 internationally recognised universities in the world, this ranking reinforces Lund University’s place in the global top tier of higher education, among 0.4% of the world’s universities.

The QS World University Rankings 2016/17 rank the world’s top 916 universities (out of over 4,322 considered). Rankings are based on the indicators Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Faculty-Student ratio, Citations per Faculty, International Students and International Faculty.

Within Sweden, Lund University is ranked number one among the eight ranked Swedish universities. Lund University also received the highest ranking in Sweden for the criteria of academic reputation.
