Who can apply?

The Lund University Global Scholarship is a selective, merit-based scholarship for current international students with top academic results from Lund University.
 
To be able to apply, you must already be a student at Lund University and wish to continue your studies. You must also be a citizen of a country outside the European Union/European Economic Area (and Switzerland) and be required to pay tuition fees.
 
Each scholarship application and selection round is independent of the previous or future rounds. This means, for example, that if you were awarded a partial scholarship when you were first admitted to the University, you may be awarded an additional partial scholarship in a scholarship round for current students.
 
Please note that selection criteria and rules for the scholarship may vary between the different faculties.

How to apply

The 2023 application round for the Lund University Global Scholarship for current students is closed. The deadline to apply was 31 May.

When making your application you need to complete the online scholarship application form and upload a personal motivation letter (maximum 600 words). Your personal motivation letter should explain why your academic performance and extracurricular activities make you an appropriate recipient of a Lund University Global Scholarship. Please note that there is a very limited number of scholarships available for current students.

The results will be announced after the summer. Note that you will still need to pay the invoice for autumn by the 1 August deadline, even if you have applied for a scholarship.
