My LU Experience photo contest 2022

Compete with your best shots!

What was the highlight of your time at Lund University? Would you like to share a great photo that captures a special moment or a fun memory?

The photo contest

NB The My LU Experience photo contest was not held in spring 2022.

Show us your best student experience at Lund University! You do not have to be a professional photographer or have access to a professional camera in order to take part in the contest.

You can participate in one, or both, of the following categories, but only with one photo in each category:

  • How I enjoy student life
In this category, we welcome you to share moments of joy during a time when student life may not have been exactly what you had expected it to be. Perhaps you dressed up for a digital ball, had a Zoom fika or found some really good airy study spots in Lund?
  • Sweden from my perspective
What aspects of living in Sweden have you enjoyed the most? What games, food or other peculiarities typical for Swedes do you find fascinating? Show us how you see Lund and Sweden from your own perspective. Experiment with wide or close-up shots and capture great moments or places in the city.

Prizes in the photo contest are yet to be announced. Winning photos will be published on the International Desk Facebook Page and may also be featured in Lund University's digital marketing channels and printed materials.

Selection of winners

The finalists are selected through online voting by students and staff at Lund University. A panel of judges from Lund University selects the winner among the pictures with the highest numbers of votes. The winners are selected using the following criteria:

  • Relevance to the categories
  • Creativity
  • Overall impression.

Preference will be given to photos that are taken in Lund and depict Lund and/or Lund University motives. The winners are announced at the Summer Reception.
