Why did you choose Lund University?

Lund University is at the forefront of innovation and interdisciplinary research. I was particularly attracted to the research environment and the unique setting across the arts, culture and science, which blurs the boundaries between art forms and disciplines and opens up new directions for innovative research and education.

Can you briefly describe your current research?

My research focuses on the development of new forms of expression and creative methods at the intersection of visual, spatial and sonic dimensions in relation to materials, environments and technologies. I am interested in the potential of such multisensory approaches to address artistic, design, societal and ecological challenges.

What will be your main research focus during your time at Lund University?

I will explore new forms of interactive performance and storytelling across multiple modalities, including objects, sounds and physical actions, using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and sensing systems.

I wish to examine the perceptual, aesthetic and sensory challenges of such co-creative processes based on human-AI interaction, and their impact on culture and society.

Lund Global Research Fellows are part of the Lund University Programme for Global Excellence, which is the University’s largest international recruitment initiative to date.
