EUGLOH scholarship – next steps for selected students

This page explains what happens after you've been selected to participate in a EUGLOH activity. It includes information about your scholarship, what you need to do before, during and after the activity, and who to contact if your plans change.

What happens after you've been selected

After you've been selected for a EUGLOH activity, your application and selection are registered in the EUGLOH Management Tool (EMT), shared by the host institution and Lund University. Within about one week after the application deadline, a Lund University officer will contact you by email. You will receive:

  • information about your scholarship
  • the documents you need to complete
  • instructions and deadlines.

If you have not been contacted after one week, you may contact the EUGLOH team at Lund University.

Before the activity

After you receive your selection, there is no need to contact the EUGLOH team immediately. You will be contacted shortly with all the information you need.

You will also receive documents that must be completed and returned by the deadline.

Your scholarship

The scholarship consists of a financial contribution to help cover your costs during the activity. It includes support for travel and accommodation, and a subsistence allowance for the duration of the activity. The funding also covers up to two travel days.

Travel and accommodation

You are responsible for organising your own travel and accommodation. This includes booking your travel, for example flights or trains, and arranging where you will stay during the activity.

During the activity

As a Lund University student participating in a EUGLOH activity, you are expected to act as an ambassador for both Lund University and the EUGLOH alliance.

You must bring a valid identity document, such as a passport or EU identity card. You should bring a printed copy of the 'Confirmation of attendance' form, which needs to be signed during the activity.

After the activity

After the activity, you must submit the 'Confirmation of attendance' form. This document must be signed by:

  • a representative at the host institution (confirming your participation)
  • you (confirming whether you used the additional travel days).

You must submit this document. If it is not submitted, you may be required to repay part or all of the scholarship.

You do not need to submit travel tickets or receipts.

If you need to change or cancel your plans

If you are unable to attend the activity, it is important that you inform both the Lund University officer and the host university as soon as possible. This allows another student to take your place.

If you withdraw after receiving the scholarship, you must still inform both parties immediately. The Lund University officer will then guide you through the reimbursement process.

If you need to interrupt your mobility after the activity has started, you should contact both the Lund University officer and the host university. You will be informed of the next steps.

Contact information

If you have questions about the activity itself, you should contact the host university. Their contact details are available on the activity page.

If you have questions about your scholarship or other administrative matters, you can contact the EUGLOH team at Lund University.
