For more details, please visit our webpage:
Once admission results are announced, you will be able to find instructions on how to secure your study place on this webpage:
In general, deferrals are only granted in exceptional circumstances. The deferral rules are set by each department, so you should contact the programme to which you have been admitted.
If you do not want to accept your admission offer, you must always decline your offer in your universityadmissions.se account.
If you are a reserve (or conditional reserve) for a programme, this means that you have not been admitted. You do not need to actively accept your reserve place in this admission round. There is no further step for you at this stage. The programme coordinators will contact you directly if a place becomes available. There is no specific deadline for receiving this information – places can theoretically become available up until the start of the programme.
The chances of a place becoming available depend on two factors: first, the number of admitted students who choose to decline their offer, and second, the decisions of those ahead of you on the waiting list. If students higher on the list decline their offers, it increases your likelihood of being offered a place.
