Energy-efficient and Environmental Building Design student ambassador Inez
Introducung Inez Eugenia
Hi! My name is Inez and I'm the student ambassador for the Master's programme in Energy-efficien and Environmental Building Design. I am happy to answer questions you might have about the programme, courses, student life, life in Lund and Sweden. Please note that I cannot answer questions about the application process, scholarships or residence permits.
My experience so far
The programme is nice, though it is sometimes a bit confusing because of the variety of backgrounds and work experiences, since this is a programme both for architects and engineers. But I personally enjoy it a lot. I got to know new things related to buildings and got to learn how to compromise when it comes to group work – all assignments are to be carried out in groups of three to four people. I would say that I am satisfied with the programme.
After graduation, I would like to get a job related to my current studies in Sweden. I hope to stay and settle here. Otherwise, I would like to work in another European country or in Canada, where I could apply what I have learned here in Sweden.
It took some time to adjust in Lund, especially in terms of getting involved in the activities that happen here – such as partying – because I didn’t use to do this in my home country, but it is really nice here! I enjoyed my time a lot socialising with new friends. I particularly liked being an international mentor. I got to meet a lot of international friends, have good talks and enjoy social activities.
