How did you find your job and how long did it take?
"I found this job through Scania’s website and it took like 3 months after graduation to find the job. The hiring process was completed within one month, I would say."
Favorite thing about your job?
"I would say analysing and problem solving – the experience of satisfaction I get when I am able to solve and find a solution. Also, our weekly meeting where we discuss the trending technological developments either in the company or in the world. I have an amazing team and that is also one of the best things about my job – I get to work with such superb minds."
How are you contributing to change in the industry or the world?
"In the EDI sector, we are transforming the way businesses exchange information by digitizing and automating document flows, which significantly reduces manual work and errors. At Scania, by adopting modern solutions like S4 HANA and EDIFACT messages, we are not only streamlining supply chain operations but also enhancing data security and efficiency. This transition helps us align with global industry standards, contributing to faster, more reliable, and sustainable logistics processes. In a broader sense, this leads to reduced environmental impact and cost savings across industries, supporting the global shift towards digitalization and sustainability."
What was especially useful about the programme that you use in your everyday work?

What do you miss most from your time at Lund? What were the highlights?
"I loved Lund as a town; it was lively and had a strong student vibe. I also miss the beautiful beaches around Lund. The highlights for me were the stunning nature, excellent transport facilities, student clubs, and the many great food places to explore. But the best part was cooking in the shared kitchen in the corridor housing once a week. It was so much fun, as we used to cook different cuisines based on the people living in the corridor."
How international was your programme?
"There were five international students in our programme. Each of us came from a different country and had a diverse educational background."
What was the focus of your thesis?

Why do you think prospective students should choose this programme?
"I believe students should choose this programme to gain a diverse understanding and knowledge of the supply chain field. The programme also provides opportunities to apply what you learn in practical cases through hands-on experience projects. Additionally, all the professors are highly knowledgeable, making it enjoyable to learn from them and benefit from their guidance."
Do you have any advice for prospective students coming to Lund?
"Yes, I would recommend doing your own research before coming, both about living in Sweden and career prospects. It would also be beneficial to apply for SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) classes as soon as you arrive in Lund. This will help you learn Swedish faster, which will not only broaden your career opportunities but also help you integrate and connect with society more easily. Although everyone speaks English and people are very friendly, learning Swedish can be a great advantage."
