Cassandra Alves from Canada
“While studying in Canada, we always discussed architectural and urban design projects in Scandinavia. Back home, this part of the world is regarded as being really progressive in issues such as infrastructure for cycling and transit, for example, and just for overall environmental initiatives. This is why the programme at Lund interested me, as I thought it would be advantageous to study in a part of the world leading in various fields of design. After my studies, I can take all this design knowledge I’ve gained, adapt it to conditions back home and begin to think about how North American cities can change for the better."
