Description

For over fifty years Malmö Theatre Academy has trained professional actors working in theatre, film, radio, and TV nationally and internationally. It has a solid reputation as one of the Nordic region's leading theater educations with a clear methodological approach, a conscious pedagogical progression, and a consistent view of the theater's core knowledge as action based. The academy is located at Bergsgatan 31 in Malmö since 2007. Malmö Theatre Academy has a bachelor program in dramatic writing, master and doctoral programs and a course in theory and practice of theatre. We have a fully equipped theatre where public performances related to our educations are shown. Malmö Theatre Academy collaborates with theatres, theatre groups, performing art educations, within and outside Lund University.
