Akademiintendenturen ansvarar för att planera, koordinera och genomföra universitetets akademiska högtider, andra stora tillställningar och event, såsom Årshögtiden, Nit och Redlighet och Diplomeringsceremonin samt officiella besök. I detta ingår presskontakter och kommunikation kring arrangemangen samt kontakter med externa parter kopplade till arrangemangen. I avdelningens uppdrag ligger även ett ansvar för protokollet och universitetets regalier.
