Bernhard Oelreich’s (1626-1686) autograph book (album amicorum) with entries from the period 1644-1649 is preserved in the Peabody Library in Baltimore. Some pages have been removed by autograph collectors, and one of these pages is in the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Bibliothek in Hanover. This essay analyses the entries that remain in the autograph book and the entry found in Hanover. The entries were made by Bernhard Oelreich's friends and acquaintances in Copenhagen, Christianshavn, Rostock, Sorö, Brussels, Leeuwarden, Leiden and The Hague, cities that Bernhard Oelreich visited during his studies. The essay contributes with knowledge about Bernhard Oelreich's educational path and is also a contribution to autograph book research. Bernhard Oelreich later became one of the first professors at Lund University after he had contributed to the establisment of the university.
