In this course, you are introduced to the field of global business responsibility as a topic of scientific inquiry. If you already have basic knowledge of management and a broader knowledge of business administration methods, this course will deepen your understanding by exploring the global business setting from different perspectives. You will explore how these contexts affect responsibility and the organisational challenges that come with interaction with other actors.

In the first part of the course, you will explore ideas around globalisation, responsibility, sustainability and development. After that, you’ll work in groups with empirical cases. You will discuss these cases in seminars, focusing on different stakeholder perspectives.

When and how to apply

There are different application rounds depending on the type of studies you are applying to, and whether you are an EU/EEA citizen or non-EU/EEA citizen. Before applying, make sure to carefully review the entry requirements and read the how to apply guide, including document instructions.

Entry requirements

General and completed 30 ECTS credits on introductory level in Business administration, and been registered to and followed 30 ECTS credits on intermediate level in Business administration.

Selection criteria

Seats are allocated according to: The general average (GPA) of your higher secondary school leaving certificate: 20 %, The Swedish national university aptitude test: 10 %, number of previous ECTS at application deadline (up to 165): 70 %.
