Innovation is central to the development of companies and society. In this course, you will focus on understanding innovation and on developing your knowledge and ability in innovation management.

You will explore:

  • Creativity and the identification of innovation
  • The role of innovation management for business development and growth
  • Different sources of innovation
  • How to manage and foster innovation
  • The innovation process
  • Innovation strategy and intellectual property rights
  • Some applications of innovation, e.g. sustainability/green innovation and frugal innovation

Prerequisites

General and at least 60 ECTS credits in Business Administration from undergraduate level studies.

Selection criteria

Seats are allocated according to: The general average (GPA) of your higher secondary school leaving certificate: 20 %, The Swedish national university aptitude test: 10 %, number of previous ECTS at application deadline (up to 165): 70 %.
