Programme structure

The courses outlined below are specialisation-specific and compulsory. You are also required to choose elective courses offered by the Department of Economic History, regardless of your chosen specialisation.

This is a preliminary course list, and is intended as guidance only. The course list may be subject to change.

One year option available

The full programme compromises of two years of full-time studies, but there will be a provision to leave after one year with a MSc (60 ECTS credits).

Breakdown semesters

Semester 1

  • Four compulsory courses (7.5 ECTS each)

Semester 2

  • One compulsory course (7.5 ECTS) – choose either Econometrics I or Econometrics II
  • One elective course (7.5 ECTS)
  • Degree project (15 ECTS)

Semester 3

  • Two elective courses (7.5 ECTS each)
  • Two tutorials (7.5 ECTS each)

Semester 4

  • One elective course (7.5 ECTS)
  • One tutorial (7.5 ECTS)
  • Compulsory degree project (15 ECTS)
