In this course, you will conduct an independent scientific study in International Business. You will formulate relevant research questions and design a study that addresses them using appropriate theory and methodology.

You will search for and critically evaluate relevant academic literature, both within your chosen theoretical area and in research methodology. You will also collect and analyse empirical data, for example through field studies or other suitable methods.

Throughout the course, you will work in small groups and independently to develop and refine your project. You will present your results in a written academic report in the form of a Bachelor’s thesis and defend your work orally.

You will also read and discuss the work of other students on the course.

Prerequisites

General and the student must be enrolled in the BSc in International Business programme (EGIBU) and have completed at least 90 credits (of which at least 30 credits should be within the subject International Business) in that programme.
