We live and work in a global, interconnected world. Managers, employees and entrepreneurs need cultural intelligence to collaborate effectively and achieve organisational goals.
The aim of this course is to develop your intercultural competence and cultural intelligence. You will explore two broad categories:
- the theoretical components
- the behavioural aspects of working in an intercultural environment

Course literature IBUA51 (PDF, New tab)After an introduction to key concepts, you will apply them in practice. You will work in small, culturally diverse teams to analyse intercultural issues in organisational contexts.
As part of the course, your team will write a report based on a case organisation. You will use relevant theories from the course literature and collect data by gathering secondary information about the organisation and by interviewing employees and managers.
