Outline

Term 1: Philosophy of Science for Linguists (7.5 credits) and compulsory subject specialisation courses or elective courses (22.5 credits)

Term 2: Methods in Linguistics (7.5 credits) and compulsory subject specialisation courses or elective courses (22.5 credits)

Term 3: Compulsory subject specialisation courses or elective courses (30 credits)

Term 4: Degree Project – Master's (Two Years) Thesis (30 credits)

Current compulsory subject specialisation courses (30 credits in total):

  • Language and Linguistics: First- and Second Language Acquisition, 7.5 ects (SPVM11)
  • Grammar and Phonology in Swedish as a First and Second Language, 7.5 ects (SVAM00)
  • Swedish as a Second Language: Analysing Learner Language, 7.5 ects (SVAM01)

as well as one of the following courses:

  • Swedish: Texts in Theory and Practice 7.5 ects (SVEM41)
  • Linguistic Variation in the Scandinavian Languages 7.5 ects (SVEM45)
