Programme structure

Below you can find details about the content of the programme.

Outline

The programme comprises 60 credits and includes seven courses.

Semester 1:

  • Comprehensive Defence and Societal Resilience (7.5 credits)
  • Communication, (Dis)information and Psychological Defence (7.5 credits)
  • Multilevel Security Governance: the EU, NATO and Global Dynamics (7.5 credits)
  • Interdependencies and Vulnerabilities in a Globalised World (7.5 credits)

Semester 2:

  • Innovation and Technological Development from a Security Policy Perspective (7.5 credits)
  • Research Methods (7.5 credits)
  • Degree Project (15 credits)

Methodology and philosophy of science are also integrated into several courses throughout the programme.
