This course gives you the chance to gain work experience in physics. You will get an insight into how your theoretical knowledge can be used in practice. The course covers the planning, implementation and reporting of work experience.
Before you can get registered for the course, you need to contact a division at the department, or elsewhere, and a supervisor yourself, with whom you plan the internship or project. When the plan has been approved by the course examiner, you are ready to start.
Within this course, you will perform a short applied project, practical or theoretical. You plan and carry out the work in consultation with a supervisor at the Department of Physics. You follow a schedule and document your work and reflections. No formal report or examination is required.
At the end of the course, you will have gained valuable work experience and established contacts with future employers. The course will help you understand the demands of the labour market and how you can use your physics degree in your future career.
Entry requirements
Admission to the course requires 60 credits in physics and 30 credits in mathematics as well as general entry requirements.
Selection criteria
Seats are allocated according to: The general average (GPA) of your higher secondary school leaving certificate: 20 %, The Swedish national university aptitude test: 10 %, number of previous ECTS at application deadline (up to 165): 70 %.

are required to pay tuition fees. You pay an instalment of the tuition fee in advance of each
semester.
