Piccolo Flute - Technique, Interpretation, Solistic Repertoire and Orchestra Studies

Application dates

You will deepen your technique in tone formation, articulation, timbre, finger technique and special fingerings, including son filés. The course includes both solo repertoire for piccolo, from Vivaldi to Ferneyhough, and orchestral studies. Teaching takes place in groups and through individual practice. 

The course is suitable for professional musicians, music teachers and students at music colleges. To be eligible for the course, you must be studying or have studied at least 90 credits in music with the transverse flute as the main instrument at a music college or equivalent.

General entry requirements as well as specific entry requirements: studied or had studied at Music Academy or the equivalent, at least 90 credits in music with main instrument flute.

Selection criteria

Seats are allocated according to: ECTS (HPAV): 100 %.
