Plastic Extension of Music

In this course, you will explore new ways of interpreting music through other forms of art – beyond the traditional use of musical instruments. You will create a unique artwork - a 'Plastic Extension' - based on a music piece of your choice.

Together with the instructor, you and your fellow students will reflect, collaborate, and experiment creatively to develop different versions of your Plastic Extensions.

Course activities include presentations, a public seminar, two visits to Skissernas Museum in Lund, creating your own Plastic Extension, a concert, and a public exhibition.

Entry requirements

General entry requirements and specific entry requirements: 7,5 credits completed from a musician programme or music teacher programme or equivalent.

Tuition fees for non-EU/EEA citizens

Citizens of countries outside:

• The European Union (EU)
• The European Economic Area (EEA) and
• Switzerland

are required to pay tuition fees. You pay an instalment of the tuition fee in advance of each
semester.
