This course provides a geological perspective on the global environmental changes shaping our time. You will learn how human activities affect the climate and environment, and how geological data and models can help us understand these changes.
The course takes a practical approach and includes a field-based research component where you will collect and analyze geological data. You will also participate in lectures, group discussions, and exercises that deepen your theoretical understanding. The course concludes with a written assignment and an oral presentation. Prerequisites
To be admitted to the course, students must have obtained general entry requirements as well as 90 credits in natural sciences, and English B or the equivalent.
