You’ll learn how to work with data using statistical methods that are widely used in business and economics. No prior university experience in statistics is required – we start from the basics.
You’ll explore three main areas:
- Descriptive statistics: Learn how to collect, summarise and present data using graphs and numbers.
- Probability theory: Understand how to calculate probabilities and work with distributions like binomial and normal.
- Statistical inference: Learn how to estimate values, build confidence intervals and test hypotheses.
