Why did you choose Lund University?
Lund combines world-class research with a genuinely collaborative culture across human geography, GIS, urban studies, and data science.
I’m excited by the chance to work with colleagues who share my interests in GeoAI and mobility, and by the Öresund region, known for practical, people-centered solutions in sustainable transport and inclusive planning.
Can you briefly describe your current research?
I build computational models from human digital traces and spatial data to understand how people move across space and time.
Using forecasting and generative methods, I analyze travel patterns and link them to the built environment, enabling personalized, low-carbon travel recommendations while support sustainable transport and evidence-based planning.
What will be your main research focus during your time at Lund University?
At Lund, I will develop GeoAI methods to relate human mobility with social, environmental, and urban context.
I want to understand how dynamic mobility patterns reshape inequalities in accessibility and exposure, for example through hybrid work, flexible schedules, and new mobility services, and translate the findings into decision-support tools for sustainable and inclusive planning.
