Summary, in English

In this article, I compare three monumental court building artworks. Two of them, one from 1945 and one from 1956, are in the former district court building in Ängelholm and the third, from 2005, is in the new district court building in Helsingborg. They reflect different attitudes toward the law and represent different symbolic languages. I analyse these attitudes and symbols against the background of the different ways the decisions of the artworks were made.
