All organisations are shaped by and rely on processes, decisions, and their digitalisation. As a manager today, you need the knowledge and tools to manage your business effectively, with support from AI and automation. Real business value from AI is achieved when it enhances processes and enables better decision-making. This course provides insight into how to design business processes and AI solutions that strengthen business operations.

You will learn through lectures, guest talks from industry and academic experts, seminars, and hands-on computer labs. You will also get support through individual and group supervision.

You will demonstrate your knowledge through a written exam, active participation in seminars, and a group project. As a student in this course, you could get KNIME certifications as part of your learning experience.

Prerequisites

Completed courses corresponding to SYSA21 Informatics: Introduction to Information Systems, 1-30 ECTS, SYSB13 Information Systems: IS and Business Development, 31-60 ECTS and SYSK16 Informatics: Bachelor Degree Project (Thesis), 15 ECTS and in addition 15 ECTS in Informatics/Information Systems at Bachelor level. English 6/English Course B Students with knowledge equivalent to the first semester of the Master's Programme in Data Analytics and Business Economics (EAGDA) are eligible to study this course.
