Lund University is the 8th most attractive employer, according to recruitment agency

main university building in twilight

Recruiter Academic Work annually conducts the Young Professional Attraction Index (YPAI) survey, in which they ask young people in various occupations which employer they would most like to work for.

The annual survey is based on data from over 4,740 respondents and reveals what the target group considers most important when choosing an employer.

The study aims to help companies and organizations understand, attract and develop tomorrow's workforce.

When asked which employer they would most like to work for, the following were in the top 10:

IKEA
Novo Nordisk
Google
Microsoft
Apple
Volvo Group
Afry
Lund University
Spotify
EY

That Lund University came 8th was new this year, as LU was previously not on the top 100 list at all. Lund was the only university to make the top 10.

When asked what they consider important factors for to consider when choosing an employer, the majority answered:

Good colleagues and work environment
Salary
Flexibility
Work-life balance
Career and development opportunities
