Our ambassadors are here to help
The students are happy to share their experiences and answer any questions you have about life in Lund. You can also learn about their experiences by checking out their video clips or reading their blog posts about a range of topics.
The ambassadors can't answer all types of questions
Our student ambassadors are current students, and recently graduated alumni, and thus are not equipped to assist you with application issues or questions. Please contact the International Recruitment Team using the form below for questions about your application, the application process, scholarships, or residence permits.
Lund University Unibuddy Acceptable Use Policy
Unibuddy is an external platform designed to help you connect with our volunteer Student Ambassadors in a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment. By using this service, you agree to follow the guidelines below.
Be respectful
Please communicate with ambassadors and staff politely and respectfully at all times. This includes:
- using appropriate language and avoiding profanity or abusive language.
- treating everyone with courtesy, even if you have a disagreement.
- respecting different backgrounds, identities, opinions, and experiences.
Respect ambassadors' time
Our ambassadors volunteer their time to support you. Please:
- keep messages relevant to your questions
- avoid sending repeated or excessive messages (spamming).
- allow reasonable time for ambassadors to respond.
Keep conversations appropriate
To help maintain a safe environment:
- do not use sexual, explicit, or otherwise inappropriate language.
- do not engage in inappropriate, offensive, or harassing behavior.
- do not ask for or share content that is inappropriate or makes others feel uncomfortable.
No advertising or solicitation
This platform is for information and support only. Please do not:
- promote or sell products or services.
- solicit private tutoring, coaching, consulting, or other paid services.
- use the platform to recruit or advertise to other users.
No discrimination or harassment
We do not tolerate language or behavior that is discriminatory, hateful, intimidating, or harassing. This includes content targeting someone based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
No soliciting of personal contact information
Our Student Ambassadors’ privacy is important to us. Ambassadors are directed not to distribute their personal contact information, social media profiles, or share any additional identifying information about themselves beyond their personal comfort level. This is to protect their privacy and security. By using the Unibuddy platform to contact ambassadors, users are agreeing to the same restrictions and are also requested not to share personal contact information or request such from the Lund Student Ambassadors. Please keep all communication with ambassadors on the Unibuddy platform.
Consequences of misuse
If you do not follow this policy, we may take action, including:
- issuing a warning.
- temporarily suspending your access to Unibuddy.
- permanently removing your access to Unibuddy in cases of serious or repeated misuse.
If your access to ambassadors via the Unibuddy platform is suspended, you will still be able to communicate with members of our staff, who can continue to provide support where appropriate via our staff contact form.
