Pro Vice-Chancellor Ann Kristin Wallengren

Ann Kristin Wallengren is a professor of film studies and her research focuses on film music, film culture and film stars, performance studies and transnational film relations. She has taught film studies since the early 1990s, and over several years served as director of studies, assistant head of department and pro dean at the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology. In these roles, she has mostly been responsible for educational issues.

As pro vice-chancellor, Ann Kristin Wallengren works on the implementation of Lund University’s culture strategy and the integration of art and culture with education and research. At management level, she is responsible for Lund University's cultural centres, museums and collections as well as various councils linked to the work on strategy. Ann Kristin Wallengren is also involved in the overall strategic considerations on educational issues and has a particular responsibility for the development of teaching and learning in higher education.
