Ranked 8th in the world in the QS Sustainability Rankings 2024, Lund University is a global leader in sustainability in higher education. This encourages us to continue leading the way towards a sustainable society in our research, education and everyday life.

Sustainability is a complex area that requires interdisciplinary research, education and external engagement. The University offers a range of courses and study programmes, and is part of networks and collaborations linked to the sustainability goals outlined in the 2030 Agenda.

Education

Our courses and programmes enable students to approach sustainable development from many different disciplinary perspectives. Through education at the Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral level, as well as professional development, this understanding of sustainability follows our students into their careers.
