By joining Studentlund, students in Helsingborg get access to student life in Lund. In addition to this, students in Lund can join organisations that are unique to Helsingborg. Helsingborg was ranked the third best student city in Sweden 2023 by Studentum.

More about Studentlund

Student unions for social science and engineering students

There are two large student unions for students in Helsingborg. Engineering students belong to the engineers' section, which is an independent part of the students union at the Faculty of Engineering, TLTH in Lund. The section is an active union that, in addition to looking after students' rights, organises social events such as arrival week activities and a career fair for engineering students. Note that the TLTH union (and the engineering section) is not an official part of Studentlund and requires separate membership.

If you are studying Service Management or Strategic Communication, Agora is the union for you. Agora is part of the Social Sciences student union in Lund, and in addition to dealing with politics and student rights, Agora organises activities such as Introduction Week, the spring ball and an annual career fair. You become a member of Agora when you join Studentlund.

Stampus student association

All students in Helsingborg also have the opportunity to join Stampus – a vibrant student association that organises a great number of activities and events, such as pub nights, festivals, dinners and ski-trips. Stampus also runs various sports teams and the student radio Stampus FM. Stampus serves a function similar to that of the student nations in Lund, but is not an official part of Studentlund. Joining Stampus therefore requires separate membership.
