The International Desk
Welcome all international students!
All incoming international students are welcome to contact or visit the International Desk for assistance regarding practical matters.
The International Desk can be found in the student reception, located on the ground floor on Stora Algatan 4.
The International Desk is part of the Student Experience and Mobility Team and External Relations at Lund University. It is an open reception and meeting point for you during your time here in Lund. You are welcome to contact the International Desk with all sorts of non-academic issues trhoughout the semester. All questions are welcome: everything from how to find your department to where you can buy a bike.

Following the International Desk Facebook page is a great way to keep informed of events, activities, Swedish cultural traditions and things happening around Lund University and nearby cities. The page is dedicated to current international students and you can also PM the International Desk team with practical questions that arise during your time at Lund University.
Newsletter for international students
The International Desk newsletter is sent by email to all international degree students and exchange students at Lund University. The newsletter is filled with useful information about Swedish culture, news and events in Lund and Skåne. If you have not received the newsletter, but would like to, you are welcome to send an email to the International Desk.
The Swedish Lounge is a weekly social language evening where international students can practise Swedish with Swedish-speaking students. The evening is hosted by the International Desk.
During the semester, a weekly 'Game Night' is organised by the International Desk. International students can come, join in on a range of board games and meet other students.
Other activities and events
The International Desk also organises a number of excursions and guided tours during the semester that you are welcome to join. Information about our events is always included in the newsletter and published on the International Desk Facebook page.
