Why did you apply to Malmö Art Academy?

"Malmö Art Academy is one of the best art schools in the world. I applied because I liked the structure here, with the studio visits. I had also heard about the great professors and teachers."
 
What is the best thing about your programme?

"There is a very good balance between the courses and the individual studio work – an arrangement that works very well for learning and development."
 
How has your artistry developed since you started here?

“After many studio visits and courses, you become more and more self-critical in relation to your work, in what you create and even in what you consider to be art. The school has given me the space and the ability to express myself in different materials and in various techniques. That has led to the fact that I now know where I belong as an artist.”
 
What do you think about Malmö as an art city?

"Malmö is a perfect art city, considering the location, but also because of the many galleries, artists and art network here. It is a cosy city and at the same time it is close to the bigger city Copenhagen. You’ve got the best of two worlds here."
 
How do you like the new facilities?

"The fact that the studios are placed in a circle at Båghallarna makes the students feel more cohesion. Being in the new, fresh facilities makes me happy. Dimman and Mazetti are situated at the best location in Malmö."
