Outline

The programme spans four semesters and combines theoretical depth with applied learning.

Optional Pathways

During the third semester you can choose to do an internship, exchange studies, or take elective courses. You will have an opportunity to develop your intellectual capacities, expand your skills and competencies, build a network, and prepare for your career after your master's, whether your goal is to stay in academia or work elsewhere. 

  • Internship
    An internship allows you to apply your knowledge in real-world settings, develop professional skills, and build valuable networks.
  • Study Abroad
    Broaden your perspective by studying abroad! The programme offers exchange opportunities with partner universities worldwide. Experience different cultures and gain international insights. This can help you develop a global outlook and prepare you for careers in diverse environments.
  • Elective courses
    You can choose to take elective courses at Lund University or any other recognised university in Sweden or abroad. The courses are chosen with the approval of the programme coordinator and enables you to tailor the programme to suit your interests.
