The Master of Science in Human Resources is designed for students who want to make a difference in the world of work. You will learn how HR can drive social sustainability and innovation in organisations facing rapid transformation.
The programme combines theory and practice to prepare you for significant HR roles, management and consultancy. It also provides eligibility for doctoral studies in psychology or sociology.
The programme is taught in English on campus in Lund. You will learn through lectures, seminars, group work and independent projects. We use case studies and real-world examples to connect theory with practice.
There are opportunities for internships and close links to research in psychology and sociology. Creativity and problem-solving are central to the programme.
Graduates are prepared for specialist HR roles, management positions or consultancy work in public and private organisations. You will also be qualified for doctoral studies in psychology or sociology. With expertise in social sustainability and innovation, you will be ready to meet the challenges of a global labour market.
Prerequisites
A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following majors: psychology or sociology (including at least 90 credits with a specialisation in one of these majors, of which at least 15 credits in total are in quantitative and qualitative methods) with a specialisation in human resources, human resource development and labour relations, science of work or equivalent. Selection criteria
The applicant’s estimated capacity to complete the programme is the primary criterion for selection.
