The course is aimed at those who study at a music academy, are active musicians or teach music and want to develop in your professional role. Through lectures, seminars and group exercises, we work with themes such as memory, group dynamics and rehearsal.

You will immerse yourself in how mental and cognitive processes affect music making. In both theory and practice. You can raise specific difficulties, situations or other issues on the subject. 

Teaching takes place on site at the Malmö Academy of Music on 4-5 occasions during the autumn and 4-5 during the spring. Exact dates will be announced before the course starts.

The course is given in English.

Specific entry requirement: studies or has previously studied a musician or music teacher programme, at least 90 credits.

Selection criteria

Seats are allocated according to: ECTS (HPAV): 100 %.
