Lund University on social media
There are many ways to find out about our activities and communicate with us through social media. Below is a list of the University’s general channels. There are many more pages, feeds and blogs at faculty and department level.
The official Lund University Facebook page is primarily aimed at prospective international students and it is also popular with our alumni. It focuses mainly on
- admissions-related information and advice
- assisting international students with their questions throughout the admissions process
- opportunities to meet Lund University (digitally and around the world) and
- pre-arrival steps for admitted students.
The page is managed by International Marketing and Recruitment.
The Alumni Network Facebook account is for all alumni interested in following alumni activities.
The official international Lund University Instagram account showcases student life at Lund University, primarily through the eyes of current international students, who post a variety of photos, stories and reels on the account.
Throughout the semester, a new Instagram ambassador takes over the account each week. During the winter and summer breaks, a variety of content is posted by Lund University staff.
The account is managed by International Marketing and Recruitment.
The Alumni Network also has an Instagram account.
Our LinkedIn accounts are a great way to connect with Lund University alumni and colleagues, and to keep up to date with alumni events around the world.
The account is managed jointly by Media and Branding and Alumni Relations and Employability.
X (formerly Twitter)
Lund University's official account on X features a combination of trending research news, information for students, pictures of our campuses and positive news about grants, rankings etc.
The account is managed by the International Media Officer (Media and Branding).
YouTube
The Lund University international YouTube channel features information about studies and student life, research news, reports, innovations by students, event footage and more.
The account is managed by International Marketing and Recruitment.
