What year did you graduate?
"I graduated in June 2020."
What is your current job and where is it located?
"I work as a lecturer at the Business Management Department, Faculty of Creativity and Business Digital, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), in Indonesia."
How did you find your job and how long did it take?
"I got this job in October 2020, approximately 3 months after graduating."
Favourite things about your job?
"Working as an academician is my ultimate dream job. Getting a job at my Bachelor’s university made it easy to adapt to the working culture and environment. I also like the fact that the department is quite new. Being responsible for the international team of my department offers opportunities to do some collaborations for exchange and double degree programmes with international partners. I also like the fact that I get to conduct research in Supply Chain Management with a qualitative approach."
What was especially useful about the programme that you use in your everyday work?
"The knowledge and case-based learning system in Lund was really useful. The sustainability knowledge from Sweden also gave me the foundation needed to deeper my knowledge in this area within my current research. Also, the Swedish culture that always appreciates students has inspired me to do the same when it comes to my students, and I encourage them to be more active during class."
What do you miss most from your time at Lund University/LTH (Faculty of Engineering)? What were the highlights of your time at Lund?
"One of my highlights was joining Lund Innovation Challenge which was really fun and I made a lot of friends there. It was cool to experience the winter and spring season for the first time and to cycle every day to campus. I also miss the discussions, group work, and company visits that always brought new knowledge."
How international was your programme?
"I think the programme had great diversity. It was really nice to have many classmates from numerous places and get to know their cultures."
What was the focus of your thesis?
"I researched the implementation of Blockchain Technology in Supply Chain Management, by conducting multiple case studies in developing countries, using Indonesia and China as the objects."
Why do you think prospective students should choose this programme?
"I think they should choose this programme as there is a good mix and balance between theoretical and practical learning processes. Also, the lecturers are very experienced and have worked in the industry which makes our studies really close to practice. They are also well-known scholars in their field. Plus, there is a strong international culture with students from a wide range of backgrounds in this programme."
Do you have any advice for prospective students coming to Lund?
"Be active and join many events to get a taste of Swedish life!"
