"When I was five years old I got to try my grandparents’ View-Master, a toy that could display stereoscopic images. It was like stepping into another world. I was completely immersed in fairy tales and hence began a lifelong fascination
for artificial environments and the technologies that make them possible.
 
More than 40 years later, I work with research on Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR and AR) at Lund university. These technologies are slowly finding their way into people’s living rooms and it’s no exaggeration to say that we are facing
a paradigm shift in how we interact with computers and data. For this reason, I’m extremely happy to be part of Sweden’s first Master's programme with focus on VR and AR!"
